Club Opens: Important Information
Our 2022 Opens go live for booking at 6am Mon 15th November 2021
Please note that our Open rates offer the best value access to the course. They offer a large discount to a normal green fee and are run to raise valuable income for the club.
We offer prizes on the day – usually down to 3rd place for team events and 5th place for pairs events.
Opens are available for on-line booking using credit / debit card facility and monies will be taken at time of booking.
Entry into our Opens are subject to 2 clear requirements:
- An ‘Active’ handicap is required and will be requested on registration
- You must be a member of a recognised Golf Club. Lapsed handicaps cannot be accepted
Society handicaps are not allowed and a copy of your handicap certificate must be presented before any prize can be issued.
Active Handicap certificates must be shown to win a prize.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility.
Payment Opens: If you are entering an open the full price will be deducted from your credit card immediately. Refunds for opens will only be granted if notice is given more than one month from date of open. In the event of a cancelled open, we can offer green fee vouchers or a transfer to a future Open. If the event is cancelled due to Covid, we can also offer a full refund
Green Fees: To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. You should report to the Pro shop before beginning your round.
Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your booking on the web site by entering your unique ref number. If you cancel with more than 1 months notice, you will receive a full refund for both opens and green fee bookings. If you cancel your booking with less than 1 month’s notice, you will lose your whole open entry fee or your deposit for green fees.
Failure To Cancel Your Booking: If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card.
Booking Transferable: The Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend.
Handicaps: This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies).
Dress Code: Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies. The following are therefore not permitted: denims, shorts, football/rugby tops, …..
Spikes: Spikes may be worn.
