CORONAVIRUS CODE OF CONDUCT FOR MEMBERS AND VISITORS

Following updated guidance from Wales Golf, please read the information below carefully, to understand the changes that have been made for golf to be enjoyed safely at the VLGC.
All tee times must be pre booked – there is no turn up and play facility.
ON ARRIVAL

Locker rooms are open
PLEASE REPORT TO THE PRO’S SHOP AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE
All member must be provided when booking for track and trace.
Pro shop staff will be checking players on the course match the booked tee time.
Visitors must supply all names and contact details for track and trace.
Where possible, please make any payments prior to the day of play via card or BACS, or, if you are paying on the day, please try to pay by card to avoid exchange of cash.
Make your way to the 1st tee so that you arrive there at your tee time. Please keep the 2 metres social distance rule in mind and do not form larger groups on the 1st tee
PLAYING GOLF
Golf Buggies can be hired for shared use. All buggies will be disinfected each morning before use.
The bunkers are now back in play and the rakes can be used . Please sanitise your hands after use
Flagsticks can now be removed on the greens. If touched, please sanitise your hands if you do remove them. However we do have fitments installed to enable you to retrieve your golf balls by using your hands with no need to touch the flagstick
Do not pick up stray balls on the course and only handle your own ball when playing your round.
Ball washers are back in use
Shoe cleaners are back in use.
AFTER GOLF
Although the 2 metre social no longer applies outdoors, please use sensible judgement with social distancing & be mindful of the safety of our staff and other visitors
The Clubhouse is now open for food and drink together with the outside decked area.
Table service only with a max of 6 per table indoors
